I wanted to thank Alla and her team for all their help. I have spent years trying to find practical solutions for the care of my lymphadema that work well for me. With the help of Alla and her team, the size of my legs have reduced drastically in a matter of months. I am grateful to them for providing me such valuable information that allowed me to navigate the medical system to be able to get the care that I need.

After having lower leg lymphedema in one leg for over 30 years, I developed the condition in the second leg about three years ago. I was unable to find shoes or boots to fit my swollen feet and legs. I was referred to Care-Med by my lymphatic drainage massage therapist 18 months ago. I was fitted with compression garments and assisted with obtaining funding from the province to assist with the purchase. 18 months later, I have lost between 3 and 12 cm in the circumference of my legs and feet. I can now wear winter boots and have more options for shoes. My balance has improved, the pressure on my arthritic knees is reduced and symptoms of diabetic neuropathy in my feet has improved significantly. I am blessed to have Alla and her excellent staff on my care team.

Not the cheapest, but the service is unmatchably good. One shouldn't go cheap on health and end up paying more because you got the wrong product or didn't use it correctly.

I have been using Car-Med for a number of years for custom orthotics and orthopedic shoes. Based on my positive experiences, I really feel it is time that I provide a review of this hidden gem. Alla and her team have been nothing but wonderful. I have used other clinics in the past, but after being referred to Care-Med, I certainly will not consider going elsewhere again. It started with a thorough assessment from the in-house Chiropodist, who took the time to understand my needs. Making appointments is seamless and service is very effecient. From there, the Chiropodist's prescription is expertly handled by Alla and her team. Since coming to Care-Med, my foot fatigue/pain have disappeared. I am on my feet for extended periods of time and suffered from plantar fasciitis. I also play competitive sports which, require my foot products to be of the highest quality. The foot products provided to meet very high standards. They provide me with the comfort and support I require to be free of any discomfort/ pain. Alla explains the claim process thoroughly and removes any complexity/ headaches in dealing with the insurance companies. She is always friendly and upfront. Most importantly, Alla operates her clinic with the highest levels of integrity and professionalism. Many clinics can take an example from Care-Med!

I wear the inserts (orthotics) everyday in my work boots . This enables me to continue growing in a better posture and healtht knees in order to function in a balanced way and achieve optimum performance daily. It was simple and fast process . I saw a doctor and got the imprints . I received the inserts within weeks . I feel more balance walking , and working . They are quality inserts and have out lasted my boots themselves. The staff is soo amazingly friendly too. I actually recommended it to my mother Who actually came in for treatment for fibromyalgia and has shown positive results.

I usually do not write any recommendations for such services, but this is different. Care Med is lead by a dynamic experienced, knowledgeable caring and brilliant caregiver. Alla Hardoon is well versed in almost every medical condition and has the knowledge to find the right treatment and deliver a WOW patient care experience reducing pain and discomfort. I’m an avid 66 year old active individual who loves tennis and golf. Unfortunately my back pain has limited me even after visiting chiropractors and specialists who wanted to give me pills and needles. Alla has helped me eliminate my back pains through correctly analyzing and finding the root of the problem, recommending that I get customized orthotics insoles for my shoes a few months ago. Alla at Care-Med has helped me through my recent bout of bad lymphedema. The last few years have been hard for everyone with COVID restrictions but Alla stayed open and was able to help me while keeping her office up to date with all health safety requirements and then some. She has always been kind and accommodating. I would recommend her to all needing her services. The only bad thing to say about this place is that there is little parking at her location though there is a mall across the street you can use.
